The term value can be used in a variety of ways. For the purpose of this post, I am talking about value=quality and value=benefits. I recently had a conversation with Damian Sogren (writer @ DancehallSoca.com) about building value. I think building value is a long term process (surprising, huh!). You will have to be focused and consistent. If you can answer the questions below you will find the value in being valuable; your Caribbean ideas, business, etc; will flourish.
Insight: the power or act of seeing into a situation
What kind of person are you and what do you understand about yourself? Can you see opportunity where others may not? Which crowd do you follow? Who do you compare yourself to? Is money your goal or is it freedom?

Sidenote: Money is an end of product of value paying off
Sidenote: Money and no freedom implies that you lack insight.
Vision: : unusual discernment or foresight
How far ahead can you visualize yourself? What motivates you? Can you execute? Are you ok with getting lost?

Sidenote: I intentionally like to get lost in different cities, not because I am crazy; the thrill of going off the path can lead me to interest and exciting places. I practice this with everything. I am calculated but open to the process and the experience. I am also aware that getting lost yields different results, I am ok with that.
Belief: a state or habit of mind in which trust or confidence is placed in some person or thing
What do people believe about you? What do they think when they hear your name? How consistent are you at being you? What have you heard people say about you, when you are not around?
Sidenote: Whatever you believe is the catalyst for many things in your life. If you think you should or should not, it is most likely you will go with whatever you belief you should or should not do. Being able to listen to the right advice is all about your beliefs.
