SLEDGE......aquired the name from a popular tv series called..Sledge Hammer, he went from Mc Sledge to SLEDGE mc from hosting numerous talent shows in various communities in the corperate area of Kingston, a born saggitarius with the name Courtney Whyte, has being singing from the tender age of five, in Churches, Schools and bible clubs, SLEDGE was also prominent in the Tastee Talent show appeared on quite a few of their series as a guest artist and was once a contestant himself. He was the lead singer for various bands and performed at the most popular hotels and venues across Jamaica,where he opened for artiste like MIkey Spice, Karen Smith, Lust,Beanie Man just to name a few.
SLEDGE has now gone solo and is now active in Hartford Connecticut and appearing on lots shows even sharing the same stage with the likes of Sanchez, again Lust, Third world, Half Pint, Sugar Minott and various hip hop artist
SLEDGE has blossomed into a song writer and is being sought by record labels and is now making inroads into the music industry.
