MobileMatters and Synergy Interactive Media today announced a joint initiative aimed at bringing MobileMatters' innovative SMS Marketing solutions to the Caribbean-American market. The venture is branded: Mobilizing the Caribbean.
The Mobilizing the Caribbean services include Text to Win and Text for Info campaigns for community Radio, Print and TV as well as brand promotions, text coupon campaigns and giveaways at live events via text messaging. Fund raising solutions aimed at not for profit organizations are also to be offered.
Under the partnership, Synergy will be the exclusive sales agent for Mobile Matters in the Caribbean-American market focusing initially on the electronic and print media. Brand marketing for Caribbean-American businesses is planned once the media market is brought online.

The reception is to be held in collaboration with Chris Williams, President of WhereItzAtMedia Group andWayne Shields, President of ProLinks. There will be a demonstration of the technology and an opportunity for Caribbean media and business executives to meet the principals behind the marketing initiative.

Also participating in the event will be Diane Johnson,Miss Jamaica USA 2009. She will deliver a presentation on Mustard Seed, the charity in Jamaica she is associated with and the fund raising campaign planned to support its mission.
