Love You Pure singer Sophia Brown is eagerly anticipating the launch of her debut album on April 15th this year. The album, tentatively entitled Spotlight will be available on iTunes and all major downloadable sites in May.
"We had originally planned to have the album available in April, but we had to push it back to May. But all is well, Weak To You is going to be the lead single, and I have been getting great buzz on songs like Jerome which was produced by Benzly Hype of LINKS Productions. A Nigerian artiste, 3GGA has already approached me directly to a remix of Jerome based on the reactions it is getting on the party scene in Europe. I saw a video clipping where they pulled up Jerome five times at a party. An Italian group, Emiliano has also approached me to do a remix of Love You Pure, so things are definitely looking up," Sophia said in a release.
Sophia Brown vaulted into the spotlight last year with Love You Pure which peaked at #6 on the Jamaica Music Countdown charts, earning her a nomination for Best New Female Artiste at the recently concluded EME awards. Learn more about Sophia
