Showtime Band member Alton Bertie is one of several musicians that have teamed up with Trinidad soca star Shurwayne Winchester to form a new band called YOU - meaning Yes, One Unit - that was launched on Oct. 31st.
Bertie is the only non-Trinidadian in the group that includes Shurwayne Winchester (lead vocalist), Prestan Andries (vocalist), Enrico Camejo (guitar), Gerion Williams (drums), DJ Kamau (turntables and samplers), Geiron Mang (keyboard), Keron Charles (bass), Christopher Sam (trumpet) and Miguel Rawlins (trombone).
